UNVEILS VISUALS FOR ‘STRANGER THINGS’ TODAY
04 June 2021, JOHANNESBURG: MTV-EMA-winning twins, Andrew & Brian Chaplin, aka Locnville are proud to present their 4th studio album, entitled ‘The Burn Box’. Heralded the first two singles, ‘Trophy’ (ft Khumz) and the signature Locnville sounding ‘Cadillac’, the album is sure to pleasure and surprise their loyal fanbase with both its variety and familiarity.
‘The Burn Box’ is 10 tracks of signature Locnville with a twist and an exciting array of collaborations. Opening with ‘Love for Nothing’ ft. Bosom P- Yung , a bass heavy electro single, states it’s intent immediately. Durban-based singer and dancer, Khumz features on the aforementioned ‘Trophy’ whilst Lady Zamar lends her signature sweet pop vocals to ‘Waste Some Time’ a single that is the perfect track to set the tone for a feel good morning or a night out.
‘Stranger Things’ is the current leading single for the album release and has futuristic cinematic accompanying visuals.
The EP comes after the news of the duo’s nod for Best Pop at the SAMAs.
Says Andrew: “This album was put together during a time of intense change, heartbreak and a whole range of emotions. This album takes you through that whole journey. I think everyone will find something that resonates on ‘The Burn Box’.

The album is the first new music since the twins dropped their previous smash single Miracle which went on to be remixed by Dj Zinhle, and featured the vocals by Apple Gule.

Locnville is a South African electro hop music duo. Identical twin brothers Andrew and Brian Chaplin formed Locnville in Cape Town, South Africa, in 2009. The twins are singer-songwriters, song producers and musicians, in addition to being guitarists, drummers and business entrepreneurs.
Their debut studio album titled Sun In My Pocket was released in South Africa in February 2010 and had proven to become a major success, peaking at No. 1 on the RISA South African Albums Chart and later winning them the award for “best newcomer” at the 2010 MK Awards.
Their second studio album titled Running To Midnight was released on 1 July 2011, including a high-definition music video for one of the album’s tracks titled “Stars Above You”.
The twins released their third studio album titled Taste the Weekend on 17 June 2016. Locnville’s forth studio project The Burn Box promises to deliver Locnville’s High end Electro Hop style music with addictive sing along that will make you want to listen to more of Locnville’s music.
