JOEL CORRY LINKS WITH DAVID GUETTA & BRYSON TILLER ON NEW SINGLE ‘WHAT WOULD YOU DO?’

LISTEN HERE

5x BRIT-nominated DJ/producer Joel Corry has joined forces with David Guetta and Bryson Tiller on anthemic new single, ‘What Would You Do?’ – his first of 2022. Listen HERE.

Following hot on the heels of previous single, ‘I Wish’ ft. Mabel – Joel’s sixth UK Top 20 single in a row – ‘What Would You Do?’ sees Joel tap legendary dance producer and close collaborator, David Guetta, as well as Louisville RnB star, Bryson Tiller, on a record that feels every bit a future-proof dance anthem.

“It was a pleasure to collaborate with David Guetta again and work with an amazing talent like Bryson Tiller”, explains Joel. “This song has a magical energy that feels fresh and timeless.”

‘What Would You Do?’ forms Joel’s second official collaboration with David Guetta after the pair first joined forces on Joel’s platinum-selling UK #3 single, ‘BED’, alongside RAYE last spring – a track that has now racked up over 500 million global streams.

Joel’s new single also lands as he continues to build out his footprint globally, with tour dates across both Australia and the US throughout March and April, ahead of kicking off flagship residences at Ibiza Rocks and in Las Vegas & New York later this summer.

His recent release of a trio of club tracks across dance labels Defected’s D4 DANCE (‘Liquor Store’), Selected (‘The Parade’ w/ Da Hool) and SIGNAL SUPPLY >> (‘What I Need’ w/ Lekota) continues to make waves on the underground too, with all three currently sitting inside the Beatport Top 10 – a nod to Joel’s ability to balance both chart and underground success.

Joel Corry x David Guetta x Bryson Tiller – ‘What Would You Do?’ is out now on Asylum/Atlantic.

He made his breakthrough with 2019’s UK Top 10 single, ‘Sorry’, which also broke the all-time 24-hour Shazam record in the UK with over 41,000 recorded tags, paving the way for collaborations with the likes of David Guetta, Jax Jones, Charli XCX and Saweetie, as well as a further four Top 10 records – including 2020’s anthemic UK #1 single and global smash, ‘Head & Heart’ ft. MNEK. In 2021, Joel also played sold-out headline tours in both the US and the UK, performed and presented at the MTV EMAs in Hungary and held down his debut residency at Ibiza Rocks, where he’ll be returning for a second 14-week marquee residency later this summer. He’ll also be playing coveted residency slots in both Las Vegas and New York throughout 2022.

About David Guetta

David Guetta has spent the last 30 years pushing dance music to new heights; from first making his name as a DJ in the Paris underground to selling over 50 million records worldwide (including 14 billion streams) and winning two GRAMMY Awards, he has been a key figure in dance music’s global migration to the charts. Responsible for era-defining hits including 2009’s UK #1 single ‘When Love Takes Over’ ft. Kelly Rowland – lifted from Grammy-nominated fourth studio album, ‘One Love’ – 2011’s ‘Titanium’ ft. Sia and 2014’s ‘Lovers On The Sun’ ft. Sam Martin, both of which also scored Guetta UK #1 singles, his influence on popular music is undeniable. More recently, he was voted DJ Mag’s #1 DJ for the second year running in their annual Top 100 DJs poll in 2021, won Best Electronic Artist at the MTV EMAs – also for a second year running – and collaborated with Joel Corry for the first time on BRIT-nominated, UK #3 single ‘BED’ alongside RAYE. He also landed further huge hit singles with both Galantis & Little Mix (‘Heartbreak Anthem’) and Becky Hill (‘Remember’), becoming one of Spotify’s Top 10 most streamed artists in the world in the process.

About Bryson Tiller

Louisville’s Bryson Tiller has carved out a reputation for being one of RnB’s most gifted and versatile artists since first breaking through with critically-acclaimed debut album, ‘Trapsoul’, back in 2015 – a record that also brought Tiller his first GRAMMY nomination for Best RnB song (‘Exchange’). He has since released a further two albums – including 2017’s ‘True To Self’, which claimed Tiller a first ever #1 album in the US – and worked with everyone from Dj Khaled & Rihanna (‘Wild Thoughts’) to Drake, cementing his trap and hip-hop inspired take on RnB as a sound all of his own. His much-anticipated fourth studio album, ‘Serenity’, is due for release later this year.
