pH has been instrumental in the careers of many high-profile South African musicians and now, it’s his time to shine. pH, born Gift Nkuna, has been in the music industry for over a decade and has worked with massive local acts including Khuli Chana, AKA, Thandiswa Mazwai, Burna Boy, Sho Madjozi, Hip Hop Pantsula, Teargas, Reason, Ice Prince and has been instrumental in the discovery of artists such as A-Reece and Yanga.
2019 sees an exciting new direction in the producer’s career and the record deal sees the rapper set out on an exciting new musical journey. With a brand-new album on the way, pH promises to shake up the local music industry with his eclectic approach to music production. He has also teased some exciting new collaborations as he plans on using the power of teamwork to make an impact on the local music scene.

Coming off the bat with a recent South African Music Award win for his work as a producer on Sho Madjozi’s debut album ‘Limpopo Champions League’, the time has never been more right for pH to embark on a new chapter as a recording artist. With an array of new music set to release over the next few months and an album on the way, 2019 is shaping up to be one of pH’s most iconic years to date.
